The Challenge
The client needed a full-featured business directory where local service providers could claim listings, manage their service areas, and attract customers searching by location and category. The platform needed tiered subscription plans where the number of zipcodes a business could target was controlled by their plan level. No off-the-shelf solution handled this combination cleanly.
The client needed a full-featured business directory where local service providers could claim listings, manage their service areas, and attract customers searching by location and category. The Solution
We built the platform on WordPress using Directorist as the directory foundation with extensive custom PHP development on top. Businesses register, choose a plan, and their account automatically limits zipcode allocations based on their subscription tier. Search works by zipcode and radius, with category and subcategory filtering. The site includes an affiliate programme, local ambassador programme, and event listings. Divi handled the frontend with significant custom layout work throughout.
