The Challenge
The client ran a press release distribution service and needed a complete rebuild of their submission and publishing workflow. The existing system was outdated and could not handle dynamic pricing, selective distribution targets, or automated export to third-party news wire services. The new platform needed to handle everything from registration to payment to publication without manual intervention.

The Solution
We built the entire workflow on WordPress using Gravity Forms and GP Perks as the core submission engine. Users register, log in, and submit press releases through a multi-step form. Pricing calculates dynamically based on word count, selected distribution channels, and optional image uploads. Admins review submissions, approve or reject, and publish directly from WordPress. Approved releases export automatically to LexisNexis via FTP in the required XML format. User accounts allow post-submission editing, image management, and payment history tracking.
