Your WordPress Site, Looked After Properly
WordPress maintenance is something most site owners think about only after something breaks. By then the damage is done. At Sentinel Infotech our plans exist so none of that happens. We monitor, update, back up, and fix things before they become problems.
- Security monitoring and malware scanning every day
- Plugin, theme and core updates tested before applying
- Offsite backups with one-click restore capability
- Monthly health report and direct developer access
Everything Your WordPress Site Needs to Stay Healthy
Six areas of ongoing care we handle so you do not have to think about them.
Security Monitoring
We scan for malware, suspicious file changes, failed login attempts, and known vulnerabilities every day. If something is detected, we address it before it causes damage. You are notified of anything significant.
- Daily malware and file integrity scanning
- Login protection and brute force blocking
- SSL certificate monitoring and renewal alerts
Plugin and Core Updates
We apply WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates on a schedule. Before applying to your live site, we test on staging to catch any conflicts. No surprises and no broken sites after an update.
- Staging test before every update
- Full backup before any change is applied
- Instant rollback if anything breaks
Performance Monitoring
We check your site speed monthly and flag anything that has degraded. As WordPress sites accumulate content, database overhead grows quietly. We catch that early and address it before visitors notice a difference.
- Monthly PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals check
- Database optimisation and cleanup
- Cache and CDN health checks
Developer Access and Support
Maintenance plan clients get direct access to a developer, not a ticket system. When something needs fixing or you have a question, you talk to the person who can actually help you.
- Direct email and WhatsApp access
- Development hours allowance on higher plans
- Monthly written report of all activity
What Happens to Unmaintained Sites
Most WordPress security incidents and performance problems are completely preventable. They happen to sites that are not being looked after, not because WordPress is inherently insecure or slow.
A site with outdated plugins is an open invitation to automated bots that scan for known vulnerabilities. A site with no backups means that when something goes wrong, your only option is to rebuild from scratch. These are not edge cases. They happen regularly to business owners who assumed their hosting company was taking care of things. Whether your site was built by us through our custom WordPress development service or by someone else entirely, our maintenance plans cover it the same way. Clients looking to go further can explore our AI integration service to add automation and intelligent workflows to their maintained site.
We keep those problems from reaching you. That is the entire point of a maintenance plan.
Outdated plugins are the most common attack vector
Most WordPress hacks exploit vulnerabilities that already had patches. The fix existed. It just was not applied.
No backup means no recovery option
Hosting backups have retention limits and restoration fees. We store backups completely separately from your host.
Sites slow down gradually without anyone noticing
Database bloat and plugin overhead grow silently. By the time visitors notice, the damage to rankings and conversions is already done.
Emergency fixes cost far more than prevention
A hacked or broken site requiring emergency recovery costs many times more than a year of maintenance, plus the downtime and reputational damage.
How We Onboard a New Maintenance Client
We do not just start applying updates to your site without understanding it first. Here is how we get set up properly.
01
Full site audit
We review your WordPress installation, all installed plugins, your hosting setup, and any existing security issues. We flag anything that needs immediate attention before we start the ongoing work.
02
Baseline backup
Before touching anything, we take a full backup of your site. This is your clean starting point and gives us something to restore to if anything in the initial cleanup causes an issue.
03
Security and monitoring setup
We install and configure our monitoring stack, set up offsite backups, and apply any outstanding security updates. Your site is actively protected from this point forward.
04
Monthly rhythm begins
Updates are applied on schedule, reports are sent monthly, and your contact is direct. If something needs attention between checks, you reach out and we respond promptly.
The Stack Behind Our Maintenance Service
We use a consistent set of professional tools across all maintenance clients so we can respond quickly regardless of whose site needs attention.
Types of Sites on Our Maintenance Plans
We maintain sites across every sector. Here are the most common types currently on our plans.
WooCommerce Stores
Active stores where downtime or a broken checkout directly costs money.
Business Websites
Lead-generating sites where being offline means missed enquiries.
Membership Sites
Subscription platforms where members expect reliable access at all times.
Health and Wellness
Clinic sites handling bookings and patient communications around the clock.
Directory Platforms
Large listing sites with significant database content requiring careful update management.
I used to dread plugin update days. Something always broke and I would spend half a day sorting it out. Since moving to Sentinel Infotech's maintenance plan, I have not had a single issue. They handle everything quietly and send me a report at the end of each month.
Questions About Our Maintenance Plans
Answers to what clients ask us most before signing up.
What is included in your WordPress maintenance plan?
Our maintenance plans include security monitoring, plugin and theme updates, offsite backups, uptime monitoring, performance checks, and a monthly report. Higher tier plans include a development hours allowance for small changes and priority response times.
How quickly do you respond to support requests?
Response times depend on your plan. Standard plans target a response within one business day. Priority plans target a response within a few hours during business hours. Emergency situations such as a site going down are treated urgently regardless of plan level.
Do you take over maintenance for sites you did not build?
Yes. We take over maintenance for existing WordPress sites regardless of who built them. Before starting, we run a full audit to understand the current setup, flag any existing issues, and establish a clean baseline. There are no unpleasant surprises further down the line. This includes sites built with custom Laravel development or complex third-party integrations, as our audit covers those layers too, not just the WordPress installation.
What happens if something breaks during an update?
We take a full backup before any update is applied. If an update causes an issue, we roll back to the previous state immediately and investigate the conflict before trying again. You will not be left with a broken site and you will be informed of what happened.
Can I cancel my maintenance plan at any time?
Yes. Our maintenance plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel with 30 days notice. We do not believe in locking clients into annual commitments for ongoing service work. Most clients stay because the service works, not because they have to.
Do you handle WooCommerce maintenance as well?
Yes. Sites running WooCommerce store development require additional care around payment gateway updates, order data integrity, and checkout functionality. Our maintenance plans cover WooCommerce fully and we test checkout functionality after every significant update to make sure nothing has affected the purchasing flow.
